Originally from Billings, Tobin and his family returned to Montana for his position in the MSU School of Music leading the Symphony Orchestra and teaching courses, primarily in music education. Tobin serves alongside Kirsten on the worship team, teaches middle school Sunday Class, and enjoys discipling college students. Tobin loves to enjoy God’s beautiful MT creation by skiing, hiking, and biking with Kirsten and his kids, Elijah, Samuel, and Lydiana.

Terry and his wife Dana have been married for 44 years and have 3 adult children. Terry is a native of Montana and did his undergraduate study in Electrical and Computer Engineering at MSU. They moved to Belgrade in 2000 after 8 years on CRU staff in Washington state, 4 years as a mission’s executive and 15 years as a bi-vocational pastor. After moving to the Gallatin Valley Terry worked for several tech companies in both executive management and software development until he retired in the spring of 2021. He and Dana have been active at E-Free since moving to the area except for 2005-2012 when they led a group to plant an E-Free church in Belgrade. Since returning to E-Free Bozeman he and Dana have served at the Welcome Center to welcome visitors and help anyone needing information about the church. Terry served on the elder board from 2001-2005 and again from 2014-2018. He and Dana both have a heart for discipleship and have led and hosted Life Groups for most of their married life. Terry’s hobbies include fine woodworking, home remodeling and gardening. Having grown up on a farm he still likes to help things grow.

Jim Loessberg

Jim Loessberg has a Financial Planning Firm located in Bozeman and carries that work into his ministry at E-Free as a member of the Finance Team and board member of Selah ministries. His hope and prayer is to see people in good and bad times see real and continued transformation in Christ and then to see it passed on and on and on…. He is a little nuts about anything outdoors (except golf) and enjoys diving, riding his horses, hunting, fishing, camping, and hanging out by the fire pit with friends. Jim is married to his Minnesota-turned-Montana bride, Irene.

Jeremy Sayre

Jeremy Sayre and his wife Katie started attending E-Free Church shortly after moving to Bozeman in 2008.  He then opened his orthodontic practice in 2009.  Jeremy has worked with Cru and worked in campus ministry in Siberia.  Jeremy and Katie have been married almost 16 years and have 5 children.  Throughout their marriage they have enjoyed working in various ministries in the churches and communities they’ve been involved in including discipleship, missions, and Children’s Ministries.  Jeremy loves the outdoors, including hiking, hunting, and anything to do with animals.

After having his life transformed by Christ in college, Matt Kirby joined staff with Cru, married his best friend (MeeHee), and started attending E-Free Church in 2008. Matt is greatly outnumbered in his house by his wife MeeHee and 3 wonderful daughters. As the Team Leader for Cru at MSU, Matt leads the staff team in winning students to Christ, building them up in their faith, and sending students out as graduates who go with a passion to reach the world for Christ wherever the Lord sends them. He works specifically with MSU athletes and coaches with Cru’s athlete ministry Athletes In Action. Matt loves helping students grow in their love of God through the word, prayer, and worship. He loves good coffee, unhealthy breakfasts, staying active, fly fishing, hunting, camping, and really anything active with people to work off those unhealthy breakfasts.

Lead Pastor

Tim is from a small town in Southeast Michigan. He attended Michigan State University and while he grew up in the church, it was during college that Tim really began to understand how the gospel should impact his faith. During college, the Lord gave him a desire to see others discipled and that began his call to ministry.

He has had various ministry experiences serving with Cru and at Reformed Theological Seminary.  He served for 7 years as an Executive Pastor in Normal, Illinois before coming to E-Free in January of 2022.

Tim has been married to his HS sweetheart Kim for over 20 years and they have 3 kids together.  He loves reading, hiking, playing board games, and connecting with others.
