Our Vision Statement:
- That every person have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- That this relationship cause every person to become more like Him and to be used by Him to make (develop) disciples who will also make disciples
- That relying on Jesus Christ the Lord, through His Holy Spirit, every person in the body will be united and held together, building up the body of Christ in love as each one does his/her part. Further, it is the vision of this church to equip people, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to serve one another and to take the Good News of Jesus to this community and beyond.
We lead people of all ages and stages to real transformation in Christ.
We lead people…
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19)
…of all ages and stages…
“…we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done….so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.” (Psalm 78:4, 6)
“I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.” (2 Timothy 1:5)
“I am writing to you, dear children…I am writing to you, fathers…I am writing to you, young men…” (1 John 2:12-13)
…to real transformation in Christ.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1–2)
It is a fundamental transformation of character and conduct, away from the standards of the world and into the image of Christ himself. –John Stott
“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18)
